Careers at Kilimo AgroPro

We are building a team of agronomists, agribusiness specialists and field staff who want to do technical work that changes what happens on a farm.

Working here

Technical work, on real farms

Kilimo AgroPro Services Ltd. is an agribusiness advisory and technical services firm based in Nairobi, working across East Africa. Our people support farmers, agribusinesses, investors and development partners through agro-technical support, farm set-up, value chain development, market linkages and compliance.

We are a small team, so responsibility comes early and the work is varied. If you want to be in the field, work to evidence, and see the effect of your recommendations within a season, this is the kind of practice you are looking for.

Why join us

What the work offers

Field-based work

Our consultants work on farms. You will spend your time where the crop and the livestock are, not only behind a desk.

Breadth of enterprise

Horticulture, field crops, livestock, irrigation and post-harvest — across Kenya and the wider region.

Evidence-led practice

Recommendations here are built on soil results, scouting data and trial results, so your technical judgement is what counts.

Senior people to learn from

30+ years combined team experience across agronomy, agribusiness and compliance, in a team small enough that you work alongside it.

Send your application

Complete the form and attach your CV. We read every application and reply to those we would like to take further. Please apply once — a duplicate does not move you up the list.

Before you apply

What helps your application

  • A CV that names the crops, livestock and scale you have actually worked with.
  • The regions and countries you have worked in, and where you can be based.
  • Any professional registration relevant to the role, and its status.
  • A covering note that speaks to this role rather than a general one.

We do not ask for any payment at any stage of recruitment. If someone contacts you claiming to charge a fee on our behalf, it is not us — please tell us at [email protected].
